2D Streetpainting «Centeocíhuatl , diosa del maíz» (Corn goddess). Corn was the basis of Mesoamerican civilizations. That is why they are called «men of corn». Thanks to their cultivation, they ceased to be nomadic and large cultures flourished. Maize appears approximately 7,000 years ago, and to date is still staple food in the countries of South America.
This interpretation of the corn goddess is based on the Aztec culture, 1325-1521 d.c. (center of Mexico), that ends with the Spanish conquest.
