«Desert flower»

Let us take care of our world and be conscious of the wonders that surround us. Few people know that the jaguar used to roam as far north as Arizona. While in the last several years, some improvements to the jaguar’s population have been observed, it remains an endangered species at risk of extinction. There is room for all living living beings on this planet.

I’d like to thank everyone in the Yuma community for their wonderful welcome. I had never felt this level of enthusiasm for my work. Special thanks to my beautiful friend for lending me her essence for the mermaid.

I’d also like to express my gratitude to Victor Salcido and his family for all of their support, as well as the Art Center of Yuma for believing in my work and inviting me to participate in this magical project, NextGen Arts’ Mural-A-Month program.

Mural a month program.
